Lyndsey's interest in photography began aged 16.   In the following years she started shooting weddings for friends and portfolios for models registered with her agency Surazuri.

In 1995 several of her photographs were selected to appear in a book called ‘Images of the West’.  It was at this point that she began to charge clients for her photographic services and went professional.

1995 – Present day

Professional photography including:

• Publication of photos in ‘Images of The West’

• Over 200 weddings and events

• Family and corporate portraits including for clients such as the Airtel CEO, Italian Ambassador to Somalia and the Governor of Nairobi

• Several magazine covers including ‘Scania World’

• Model portfolios and fashion photography

• Brochures

• Travel photography to accompany articles written for TN and Twende Magazines as well as for groups on safari in Morocco

• Commercial work for clients including: Mnet (two years as official photographer – Kenya), Italian Embassy, Braeburn School, Telkom Kenya (cover of telephone directory), Safaricom, United States International University,  Institute of Advanced Technology, British American Tobacco, Karen Country Lodge, Utamaduni, Ericcson, Marula Studios and East African Canvas.
